The short version
Futurepedia's directory is curated by its editors, and as of 3 November 2026 its submission page no longer exists, so there is no public way in. If you are looking for somewhere to list an AI tool now, that is the main reason to look elsewhere.
The platform
What Futurepedia is
Futurepedia presents itself today as an AI operating system for work: toolkits, workflows and courses for professionals, with the AI tools directory as one section. It is run by HubSpot under the Futurepedia brand, and says more than 700,000 professionals from 150 countries use it. Its directory showed 2,492 tools when we checked.
The directory is curated: Futurepedia says it reviews what a product offers before including it, and that it does not sell rankings. Category pages are ranked by editor reviews, ratings and user saves, with tabs for trending, popular, new and verified tools; a sponsored tool can sit at the top of a category.
It accepts AI tools only, and its terms rule out NSFW tools, dating tools, AI newsletters and other directories. On 3 November 2026 its submission page returned a 404, and no page on the site linked to a way to submit.

The reasons
Why founders look for a Futurepedia alternative
- There is no public way to submit a tool: the submission page is gone.
- Inclusion is an editorial decision, and the directory is a small part of a product now built around courses and workflows.
- It lists AI tools only, and not newsletters, directories or dating tools.
- Order on category pages comes from editors, ratings and saves, with sponsored tools on top; you cannot see what a position would cost.

The honest answer
Which one to choose
Choose Futurepedia if
- You can reach Futurepedia's team for a sponsorship or partnership.
- Your tool is already listed and you want to keep it current with its update form.
- Professionals learning AI for work are your audience.
Choose outclimbed if
- You want to list a product today, through a public form.
- Your product is not an AI tool, or is one of the kinds Futurepedia excludes.
- You want to see what each position costs.
- You want your rank to depend on points, not on an editor.
Or use both. If your tool is already on Futurepedia, keep it current there; it costs nothing. For a new listing you can make today, outclimbed takes any product and puts it on the wall at once.
