The platform
What SaaSHub is
SaaSHub calls itself an independent software marketplace that helps people find the best software and alternatives. It says it lists about 255,000 products and gets more than 564,000 visits a month, and it has been running since 2014. Its core pages are "<product> alternatives" lists, which it says are its most visited after the homepage.
Products are submitted through a form that asks for categories and competitors, and every submission goes through approval. SaaSHub gives no time for it: products with more competitors listed are approved first, verified products get priority, and one with no competitors is put at the bottom of the queue. It does not accept agencies, waitlist pages, unreleased or non-English products, or free subdomains.
Order on its lists comes from its algorithms, user votes and comparison articles it knows about; SaaSHub says it never moves a product up because it is featured, and cannot guarantee anyone the first position. Paid placements sit beside the organic list, marked as sponsored.

The reasons
Why founders look for a SaaSHub alternative
- Approval has no stated timeline, and a product without listed competitors goes to the back of the queue.
- Order is decided by SaaSHub's algorithms, votes and articles elsewhere. You cannot see or buy a specific position.
- Verification needs an email on the product's domain or a login, and has to be renewed every quarter to keep the badge and its exposure.
- The paid plan is a monthly subscription, and its links carry tracking and are nofollow on the featured pages we checked.
- Agencies, waitlist pages, unreleased and non-English products are not accepted.

The honest answer
Which one to choose
Choose SaaSHub if
- Your product is a piece of software with well-known competitors to be listed next to.
- You want buyers comparing alternatives to find you, for free.
- You can wait for approval and re-verify every quarter.
- A $99 monthly featured plan fits your budget for a steady stream of referrals.
Choose outclimbed if
- You want to be listed today, without an approval queue.
- You want to see your rank and know what it costs to move it.
- Your product is an app, a side project, an agency or an X profile that SaaSHub would not take.
- You would rather pay once than every month.
Or use both. They do different jobs. A SaaSHub listing puts your software next to its competitors for people comparing tools; an outclimbed listing is a ranked place you control. Being in both costs nothing extra on SaaSHub's free plan.

How a place on outclimbed works
List a website or an X profile: free for a month, or from $10 to stay for good.
A paid entry starts with 10 points, and every dollar above the minimum is one more. Bought points never expire, and the price of every rank is public.
Every listing gets a share link. Each new person it brings to the wall is worth a point for 30 days, so rank can be earned as well as bought.
Keeping the outclimbed badge on your site adds 30 points for as long as it stays.
The rules have every number, pricing shows what each rank costs today, and the FAQ answers the rest.
